Waffle
A waffle is a dish made from usually leavened batter or dough that is cooked between two plates that are patterned to give a characteristic size, shape, and surface impression. There are many variations based on the type of waffle iron and recipe used.
For a child, a waffle is often more than just a meal—it’s a sensory, creative, and educational experience. From the “magical” grid pattern that holds syrup to the hands-on fun of making them, waffles engage a kid’s mind through curiosity, problem-solving, and play. As my kids love waffle I made it with whole wheat flour instead of Refined flour.
