Buttermilk / Neer More

Ingredients
  

  • Thick curd – 1 cup Plain Yogurt
  • water – 1/2 cup
  • salt – 1/4 tsp
  • curry leaves – 2 torn to half
  • Gr. chilly – 1 deseeded skip for kids
  • ginger – a tiny piece skip for kids

Equipment

  • whisk optional
  • Filter to remove garnish before serving
  • A deep bowl

Method
 

  1. Take curd / yogurt and water in the bowl and whisk together to a smooth consistency.
  2. Add salt and check taste.
  3. Add curry leaves, green chilly and ginger and whisk together until salt is dissolved.
  4. Leave in refrigerator for a 30 minutes to a few hours. This helps to soak in the flavour of the garnish.
  5. The more it soaks, more the spice. So filter it in 15 minutes if it is for kids.
  6. Filter it to 2 glasses and enjoy!
